Job Purpose and Impact

The Plant Continuous Improvement Lead will develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives. In this role, you will conduct continuous improvement activities with medium project cost and risk and activities with less defined processes for our Lake Odessa, Michigan plant location.

Key Accountabilities

  • Directly provide updates on the project objectives, performance measures, issues and risks to partners and management.
  • Monitor and implement continuous improvement best practices.
  • Develop and handle continuous improvement plans for projects with low cost and risk to reach and sustain project goals.
  • Conduct organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation and execute continuous improvement strategies that meet business needs.
  • Oversee business process and performance management activities, including reporting, analytical insights, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

• Location: MI-Lake Odessa; Relocation support may be provided.
