Job Purpose and Impact
The Food Safety Quality Regulatory Customer Value Expert will provide specialized knowledge of specific segments of the organization's quality systems and plant processes, specific product line knowledge, computer systems and other needed focus areas for customers. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to address customer requirements and concerns regarding product safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage customer questions, assist with problem resolution and documentation fulfillment.
- Liaison for customers, sales staff and production operations team regarding product safety, quality and regulatory compliance and company products and processes.
- Build relationships with internal and external partners to understand the detail necessary to execute on customer related offerings that drive profit centers for the company.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts for internal processes to standardize, simplify and automate the tasks needed to enhance the customer experience.
- Translate complex information from multiple sources into a communication message that is easy for the customer to comprehend.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Experience with email, spreadsheet and word processing applications
- Significant experience in food safety, quality or regulatory practice in manufacturing operations or any related production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Product quality and safety certifications
- Experience working with data management software
- Applied basic project management skills
- Experience with quality and safety management systems
- Applied basic auditing and quality skills

The expected salary for this position is $60,000 - $78,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
