This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Administrative Assistant – Global Strategic Marketing & Technology will provide administrative support on a global level for several executive team leader members and participate in administrative day-to-day activities related to the project managing, events organization and stakeholder communications. In this role, you will participate in the global project initiatives the team is involved in.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply knowledge of department operations and infrastructure, policies and procedures to perform moderately complex administrative processes.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, diaries and travel arrangements for several executives in the department.
- Solicit, collect and organize documentation and data, performing data entry into one or more systems.
- Receive, relay, and respond to varied and routine administrative requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in projects and team discussions supporting and organizing team meetings and internal team activities.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
- Proven experience working in a global environment and dynamics – working closely with executive leaders in the team.
- Fluent English language skills – written and verbal. Any additional language would be considered and advantage.
- Background in project management, event organization and support team environments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and attention to detail, able to work and coordinate daily tasks autonomously
