Global Account Lead (m/f/d)
Job Purpose and Impact
This position is part of our regional Go-To-Market organization in the Food Solutions EMEA business.
- The global account team is partnering with our largest, strategic customers in order to co-innovate and grow the business with them
- This position specifically will lead a cross-functional customer team for 2 customers, with the focus on growth in the EMEA region and global coordination responsibilities with the other regions for 1 of those accounts.
- The opportunities for these customers range from our traditional ingredients, solutions and categories, but also provide great opportunities in our growth spaces around Specialized Nutrition, Meat & Dairy Alternatives and Sustainability challenges.
- This position will lead a small team of 2 Key Account Mgrs - on top of indirect leadership to the broader customer team
- Key stakeholder management internally and externally with the customers is critical to be successful in this role
Key Accountabilities
- Categorize customer segmentation, allocate the qualified account management teams to customers and allocate the right customer resources for opportunity teams to deliver on the customer account management to realize value.
- Influence business decisions impacting customers both short and long term value creation from the customer's voice in the assigned region.
- Provide businesses the required customer resources to deliver on the prioritized opportunities and develop a pipeline of talent to fulfill commitment on growth projects.
- Partner with opportunity leads to realize the customer's value and maximize customer flow income across the portfolio of account opportunities.
- Collect customer insights and global market trends and incorporate them into the businesses and the customer organizations' long term outlook.
- Identify new capabilities representing a material opportunity for value creation for both segment customers and the company in the assigned region.
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of internal and external partners' ecosystem and ability to leverage partner's solutions to solve strategic customer's needs
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
