In this position drivers efficiently pick up, deliver and distribute goods and ensure top quality service to customers of Cargill.

Compensation: $33.40/ hr CAD

Key Accountabilities

• Operate vehicles safely and courteously, following traffic laws and company standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic roadside repairs.
• Deliver goods on schedule, ensuring correct counts and product condition.
• Follow biosecurity protocols and control truck temperature as needed.
• Complete logbooks, shipping documents, and fuel/trip reports accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with external partners (customers, customs, repair shops, etc.).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada. 
• Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
• A valid Canadian full class “DZ” driver's license in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills 
• 1 year previous driving experience
