Job Summary

The Director, Process Training and Deployment job leads the execution of tactical and strategic plans for enhancing organizational performance and customer satisfaction. This job provides guidance to streamline operations, reduce waste, and optimize workflows. This job drives the adoption and integration of business process management standards and promotes the application of improvement principles, and also drives execution to increase consistency, process management maturity, and the standardization, harmonization, and simplification of processes for value creation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Essential Functions

  • BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT STANDARDS APPLICATION: Leads and guides application of business process management frameworks and methodologies across the organization, and incorporates feedback to improve business process management practices.  
  • PROCESS MAPPING & MODELING: Leads and guides information gathering, interviews, workshops, and the creation of detailed process models and documentation in compliance with relevant standards.  
  • PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Guides the team in leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies to review and challenge existing processes, leading process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and value, and reduce waste.  
  • PROCESS ASSESSMENTS & DATA ANALYSIS: Leads the team in using data insights and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to review processes, identify improvement opportunities, and apply advanced analysis tools.  
  • DESIGN SOLUTIONS & WORKSHOPS FACILITATION: Leads highly complex solution design and large cross-functional workshop facilitation to achieve the desired outcome.  
  • TECHNOLOGIES ADOPTION: Leads the adoption of new technologies and automation tools that support process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.  
  • WORK INTAKE & PRIORITIZATION: Responsible for developing and implementing a work in-take process to lead team resource demand and work prioritization and sequencing aligned with business leadership objectives.  
  • STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION: Leads and champions cross functional collaboration to ensure clear action plans and facilitate new practices while leading a community of practice for continuous improvement across the organization.  
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization’s goals by allocating resources, ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Preferred qualification: Lean Six Sigma training and Black Belt attainment.

Information for Minnesota Based Applicants

The expected salary for this position is $132,000-193,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience.
The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The
incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
