Job Purpose and Impact

The Transportation and Logistics Coordinator III will evaluate complex and varied distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products. In this role, you will conduct data management, reporting and analysis, shipping, client interaction, business partnership and people, resource, budget and project management.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform data entry updates using spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders and contracts, analyze data, collect and translate implications and present findings to senior team members.
• Lead transportation sourcing activities, including bid participation and negotiation of freight rates, to optimize
  transportation spend and service levels.
• Plan, control and implement processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement.
• Analyze and project transportation costs and coordinate customs clearances and permits.
• Evaluate, select and foster continuous relationships with external transport providers.
• Use significant knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations to establish good customer relations. .
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Position Details

• Location: KS,Wichita ,North Olmsted, Ohio, Wayzata, MN;  Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

• The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position

• Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.

The expected salary for this position is $86,000 - 100,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.​
