Principal Accountabilities
- Perform preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic precision tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Perform repetitive or non-routine job duties in a fast-paced, cold or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Support food safety, housekeeping and plant safety standards across the facility
- Acquire and use a variety of planned materials, tools and documentation for planned work and work-order details for reactive work
- Work independently to identify priorities and be self-driven to accomplish work
- May operate heavy machinery (including forklift)
- Will complete input using spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of basic tools, power tools, and basic precision tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Cargill Experience
- Previous experience in maintenance or related area
- Work history in the last 12 months
