Job Purpose and Impact

The Security Operations Supervisor will supervise and direct a team that will protect the organization's employees, properties and all items of value on premises from any preventable harm or danger. In this role, you will oversee response to contingency events, including bomb threats, sabotage and severe weather conditions with onsite security or the assistance of government law enforcement agencies.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate and administer security clearances.
• Supervise investigations that protect organization assets.
• Develop security policies and procedures that comply with government guidelines and standards.
• Oversee development and maintenance of analytical procedures that meet fluid requirements and ensure maximum operations.
• Other duties as assigned
• Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum requirement of 1 year relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of supervisory experience
