This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Planner will plan routine basic maintenance on our plant assets and equipment following established program guidelines. In this role, you will develop detailed work plans to improve workforce efficiency and quality by identifying the elements of an executable work package. You will provide general knowledge of consistent maintenance and reliability best practices in completing basic task planning and prioritization, and delivering quality work that supports organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities

Analyze information and provide feedback necessary to generate highly effective and detailed work plans.
Negotiate with departments involved in the actions.
Analyze the backlog of pending activities.
Participate in the acquisition of materials/parts, special tools, and unique items required in the work plans using relevant maintenance programs and database tools.
Prepare detailed work plans as required for general maintenance activities and downtime schedules, and partner with more senior team members to identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce lost production.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Strong experience with maintenance planning.
Previous experience with packaging machines.
Knowledge of SAP PM module.
Intermediate English.
Other minimum qualifications may apply.
