A Typical Work Day May Include: 

  • Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial electrical work throughout the facility
  • Documenting all completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary
  • Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various electrical components and systems including low voltage automation systems, medium voltage motor control circuits, and high voltage (<15kV) power distribution systems
  • Comprehending schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals
  • Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment 
  • Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lift, etc.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned


What You Will Need: 

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Industrial electrical experience and/or a Journeyman Electrician license
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice


What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
  • Experience working with high voltage electrical equipment
  • Experience with programming technologies, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) and variable frequency drives (VFD)
  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to troubleshoot 480/240/120 Volts
  • Ability to troubleshoot  and install 4-20MA devices
  • Networking/Switch/IT experience
  • Cat 5/6 run and termination
  • Fiber run and termination
  • 2 years of industrial experience or in related production work
  • Ability to interpret, understand and create electrical schematics
  • Experience with Allen Bradley or Wonderware programming including VFD, soft start, and smart MCC programming and troubleshooting
  • Post secondary or technical college degree in related field. (electrical, computer science, software programming)
  • OSHA 30HR
