Master Production Planner

Job Purpose and Impact
The Master Production Planner will contribute to and create the long term monthly supply plan and facilitate material requirements planning aligned with near-term staffing activities. In this role, you will handle and support multiple product lines or sites with medium to high impact on working capital and ensure the connection between integrated business planning activities and tactical production execution.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide informal mentorship and training to other planners.
- Participate in setting master production planning metrics targets.
- Provide necessary input to supply planner to support integrated business.
- Handle feedback/escalations from Operations or other Production planners .
- Maintain data relevant to master production planning activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.
- Analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to resolve manufacturing plans and required resources.
- Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments and challenge targets
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience in master production planning, production scheduling, or supply planning.
- Experience working on Master Planning projects.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset, preferably based on Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
