Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply & Inventory Planner is responsible for developing and executing supply and inventory plans that ensure product availability while optimizing working capital, inventory health, and service levels. The role collaborates closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, Logistics, Commercial teams, and Finance to balance demand, supply, capacity, and inventory across the network.

Key Accountabilities

Supply Planning:

•    Develop short, medium, and long-term supply plans for assigned product portfolios and manufacturing sites.
•    Align supply plans with demand forecasts, production capacities, sourcing constraints and inventory targets.
•    Support monthly Supply Review and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
•    Create mitigation plans for supply shortages, demand surges and capacity constraints.
•    Monitor and manage production, procurement and replenishment plans.

Inventory Management:

•    Establish and maintain inventory policies including safety stock, cycle stock, reorder points and target inventory levels.
•    Drive inventory optimization to achieve service and working capital objectives.
•    Monitor inventory health and proactively address excess, obsolete, slow-moving and aging inventory.
•    Analyze inventory projections and implement actions to improve inventory turns and DIO.

Planning Systems & Master Data:

•    Maintain planning parameters, master data, lead times, sourcing rules and planning settings within ERP and planning tools.
•    Ensure planning data accuracy and governance.
•    Support continuous improvement of planning systems and processes.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MBA/Supply Chain certifications

Experience:

• 5-7 years of minimum experience in Supply chain / Inventory Planning, Production Planning.
• Handson Experience with SAP S/4, SAP IBP, APO, PPDS or equivalent planning systems.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
