Maintenance Planner
Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance Planner will plan basic routine maintenance on our plant assets and equipment following established program guidelines. In this role, you will develop detailed job plans to improve the work force efficiency and quality by identifying the elements of an executable work package. You will provide general knowledge of consistent maintenance and reliability best practices in the completion of planning and prioritizing basic tasks and providing quality work that supports organizational goals.
Key Accountabilities
Create detailed work orders including estimates for manpower, materials, tools, duration, costs, and special equipment, in line with approved SOPs
Place orders and ensure timely availability and delivery of resources (materials, tools, manpower) to the right location
Prioritize and schedule work orders (periodic, backlog, major maintenance) while optimizing execution time
Conduct pre‑schedule meetings with the execution team to agree on start and finish dates and secure commitment to the plan
Ensure jobs are carried out according to plan, allocate resources to the execution team, and close completed work orders
Manage and ensure proper use of the RMMS–ERP system as the main database for road maintenance planning and execution
Prepare annual and quarterly master schedules for road maintenance to guarantee continuity and operational efficiency
Coordinate with RDPO Engineers to improve road quality and actively participate in accident/incident investigations within the department
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on maintenance progress, closure of CAPA Enablon/EHS, and presentations for IMEX and regular reviews
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in maintenance or road project planning
- Preferable good english communication.
- Demonstrates strong capability in planning, organizing, and executing maintenance activities with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams and communicates clearly with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in using RMMS (Road Maintenance Management System) and ERP tools.
- Familiar with analytical methods such as AFA (Asset Failure Analysis), RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis), and the 5 WHY technique.
- Additional experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
