Job Purpose and Impact
The Commodity Compliance Specialist III will work within an organizational framework designed to ensure that the organization's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations and comply with legal and regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions. In this role, you will provide regulatory knowledge and business understanding to handle complex compliance support for the assigned business line.
The Commodity Compliance Specialist III will support and enhance programs designed to ensure that the organization's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations and comply with legal and regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions. In this role, you will provide advanced business understanding to handle complex compliance support for the assigned business line.
Key Accountabilities
With limited supervision, vet proposed transactions, taking into account internal guidelines as well as outside regulatory requirements to mitigate compliance risk.
With limited supervision, review and advise on activities for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including derivatives transactions, financial crime, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, and working knowledge of data privacy and sanctions.
Administer defined procedures, analyses and report preparation.
Work with more senior staff when dealing with complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, analyses, or internal relationships.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating and consulting on the more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years related work experience
Working knowledge of English and Spanish preferred
