Our Ocean Transportation Trainee Program offers you the chance to be at the forefront of this transformation.
As an OT Academy Trainee, you’ll join an 18–24 months rotational program that provides exposure to our global trading, risk management, vessel operations, analytics, strategy, and sustainability teams. You will work on meaningful projects, gain international exposure, and build the foundation to become a future leader in the shipping and logistics industry.

Key Accountabilities
- Rotate across core areas such as trading, risk management, vessel operations, analytics, and business development.
- Apply data and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency, trading performance, and customer insights.
- Contribute to our digitalization journey, including process automation, data visualization, and adoption of new technologies.
- Take part in real-world shipping and trading activities, from contract negotiation and trade entry to voyage execution and profit/loss analysis.
- Work on cross-functional projects that address key industry challenges such as decarbonization, regulatory compliance, and digital trade.
- Receive mentorship, continuous learning, and personal development support through the Ocean Transportation Academy.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, graduating in 2026 or recently. Available to join June/July 2026
- Confirmed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent influencing skills.
- Strong learning agility and adaptability to a fast paced environment.
- Ability to handle risks and ambiguity.
- Strong team player and thrive in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Other minimum qualification may apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
- Proficient in using data analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Python program or others.
