Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate, Corporate Venture Capital will support the manager or director in leading strategic investment and partnership initiatives, including minority investments in growth stage companies. In this role, you will be involved across the full venture investment lifecycle—sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing strategic investments that accelerate innovation and growth. You will perform due diligence, build financial models, review transaction documents and coordinate with key partners to align with corporate strategic priorities.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead execution of venture strategic investment processes, working in a project team along with at the minimum a manager, director or managing director, ensuring alignment with corporate innovation and growth objectives.
- Work with essential partners to monitor and manage the venture portfolio, tracking key performance indicators, value creation, financial performance and project plans.
- Support investment structuring and execution, including preparation and review of transaction materials, financial models and project management materials.
- Develop investment gameboards and roadmaps in line with strategic priorities; analysis integrating venture activities with broader business development and corporate strategy efforts.
- Contribute to practice-building initiatives such as knowledge sharing, process optimization, recruitment and training.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience in in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or a startup environment. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position is $110,000 - $145,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
