This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Boiler Operator I, will assist in the operation of boilers to generate steam for building and production processes using basic knowledge and under frequent guidance. In this role, you will be responsible for observing pressure, temperature and draft meters across the facility.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor boiler operation (pressure, temperature and draft meters), including chemistry on water, safety checks and coordination of maintenance activities including logouts tag outs and preventative maintenance completion under general guidance.
- Record and document maintenance and other boiler related activities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose basic mechanical problems and provide follow up as required.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly boiler operation checklist under direct guidance.
- Follow directions to complete regular preventative boiler maintenance checks.
- Other duties as assigned

- 3 Years experience in the same field
