This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Consumer Brands International Project and Marketing Manager will support the growth of international expansion in Cargill’s APAC region. They will oversee the execution of the commercial elements for market development: analytics & planning, execution and measures, P&L, business partnership, resource & budget management. This person will act as the project manager for Consumer Brands pre-launch and post launch activities on new markets and will work with cross-functional project teams to take existing and new products into the APAC markets.
This person will also be the marketing contact point for our APAC partners/distributors and Consumer Brands Teams supporting the coordination of product launches and the continuous implementation of new opportunities, while integrating new partners into Cargill’s business processes. You will work with new business partners on identifying opportunities that help to expand margins, track business performance vs. agreed KPIs and establish, update, and maintain partners website, and social media communication channels. Lastly this person will support and prepare for steering committee meetings and business reviews.
Key Accountabilities
- Direct preparation and coordination of product introductions and updates with established KPIs to maximize brand performance
- Compile and evaluate research on market product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality, while also reviewing and tracking marketing program results
- Coordinate market activities identifying Product, Price, Distribution, Promotion, Consumer Communication and Marketing Support, Regulatory & Legal to ensure all elements come together for a strong and sustained profitable volume growth
- Independently plan, organize and coordinate assigned programs to accomplish marketing and sales forecast management and budgetary goals.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management in the APAC Region
- Minimum 5 years of international project management for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating product launches in international markets with international partners or distributors in CPGs; preferably in the food industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience tracking business performance vs. established KPIs with international distributors in CPGs
- Demonstrated leadership either as directly managing employees or successfully leading cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of key marketing mix elements, digital tools, marketing activation programs, international shopper marketing, and consumer messaging.
- Knowledge of the tabletop sweetener category across a wide range of international markets or ability to quickly develop it.

Compensation Data + Standard Working Hours
The expected salary for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

This role is open to part time (30 hours a week).
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
