Principal Accountabilities
Through supervisor requests, conduct hands‑on training of machine operators within the Ground Beef Department
Respond to and follow up on reactive maintenance calls in the plant
Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) and follow‑up repairs from PMs within the facility
Conduct daily line assignments by receiving a PM and walking assigned lines within the assigned department
All other duties as assigned, including maintenance assistance as needed in the entire facility
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment
- At least one year of experience using hand tools such as drill press, hand drill, wrenches, threading machines, etc.
- At least two years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Industrial Electricity I, II, and III
- Certification in Motor Controls
- Experience troubleshooting with PLC’s
- Working knowledge of fluid power, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Previous experience with Precision Maintenance
- Bi Lingual in English/Spanish
- One year of experience TIG Welding
- Building Trades (Drywall repair, spackling, Plumbing)
- Ammonia refrigeration experience
- Ammonia certifications
