This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Fabrication Operations Manager will provide strategic operational oversight for fabrication, grind and shipping areas for Fort Morgan Beef facility. In this role, you will oversee and hold these areas accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational, continues improvement, effectiveness and financial performance. You will be responsible for the execution of operational strategies and tactics to achieve business visions and goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and ensure all areas under responsibility operate safely and in compliance with regulatory and internal safety and environmental program standards and goals.
  • Oversee execution of consistent and quality product while driving reliability centered manufacturing operations.
  • Responsible for strategy execution, management and compliance of capital and operating budgets and oversee the strategy of capital investment projects and spending.
  • Leads and own strategic implementation results of continues improvements and operational efficiency programs.
  • Champions a culture that builds, operates and maintains plants that are operationally sound, safe and efficient.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Budgeting and operations planning experience
  • Operational excellence knowledge

Posting Details

  • This position is located in Ft. Morgan, CO; relocation support may be provided 
  • The expected salary for this position is $132k-$175k.  Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award.
