Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Formulation Nutritionist will provide advice and consultation to internal and external customers about poultry nutritional solutions and technology. You will be responsibility for partnering and working alongside with the local commercial and technical teams for our Cargill Protein business in Poland – Konspol Holding. In this role, you will enable the business to enhance its growth agenda by bringing its best technology to an exclusive set of customers and prospects throughout the region that are targeted to achieve significant growth. You will serve the first point of contact for poultry feed nutrition and animal health expertise within the local customer facing organization.

The job offer applies to Konspol Holding, representative Cargill Protein in Poland. We offer stationary work, with trips to chicken farms 2–3 times a week (pool car available). Our chicken processing factory is in Gierłatowo, Poland (voivodeship Wielkopolskie). 

Key Accountabilities

•    Partner with our Agriculture Director in Poland and develop the approach with the local technical teams to achieve trusted advisor status at those internal and external customers and rally the team around the opportunity in order to be able to deliver on customer promise.
•    Be the first point of contact for poultry feed nutrition and animal health expertise within Cargill Protein business in Poland.
•    Optimize nutritional requests, crafting the best offer from a nutritional and commercial perspective.
•    Provide expertise in assessing new business and/or improvement opportunities and setting priorities in our innovation pipeline.
•    Guide the local technical teams in the roll out of new solutions.
•    Develop training tools and organize train the trainers sessions to improve our agriculture operational effectiveness.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Nutrition related majors and/or equivalent experience.
•    Confirmed Poultry (Broiler) nutrition knowledge and proficient use of formulation tools and concepts.
•    Over 7 years demonstrated expertise in species nutrition, feed manufacturing and on farm experience.
•    Minimum of four years of related work experience.
•    Proficient level in English, both written and verbal.
•    Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
•    Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
•    Readiness to work stationary on a poultry farm in Gierłatowo (Poland).

Preferred Qualifications
•    Master's degree in nutrition application, Animal Science or Animal Husbandry.
•    Confirmed success in project management and/ or product management.
