Principal Accountabilities

• Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems, support others in resolving issues through use of knowledge of processes and procedures
• Conduct cycle counts and may support reporting or reconciliation
• Stabilize trucks with chocks and may oversee the loading and unloading vehicles
• Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement spanning the full range of facility operations with authority to make moderate changes, as defined by management
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lock ins and outs and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
• Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.. with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• High School diploma or equivalent job experience
• Basic use of a computer
• Experience with SAP program
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift
• Experience in shipping, related work.
