Principal Accountabilities
- Serve as champion for food safety
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and collaborate with USDA personnel to ensure regulatory readiness
- Perform routine product monitoring, including fat analysis, shear testing, temperature verification, and moisture checks
- Execute cook attribute evaluations and conduct sensory assessments to verify product quality
- Administer and document test and hold procedures, and release procedures in alignment with FSQR protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, good housekeeping practices, and plant policies by all stakeholders
- Accurately enter, track, and mantain quality data within digital systems
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on FSQR laboratory and testing equipment
- Apply strong decision making and problem-solving skills to resolve quality concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Utilize Microsoft Office and related technology to analyze, report, and communicate quality findings
- Maintain mobility throughout the facility, includint standing, walking, and performing testing for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 60 lbs of product, or boxes with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willing to train team members on FSQR procedures and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years experience in manufacturing environment (70 for scoring weight)
- Previous food safety or quality experience (30 for scoring weight)
