Security Officer
Job Purpose and Impact
Security Officer supports the deployment of routine security programs and assists with region specific security risks and incident response to enable safe and resilient business operations. Under close supervision, this job supports the implementation of enterprise security policies and standards locally, collaborates with the team on evolving security needs, site and regional security issues and helps ensure compliance with global security requirements while adapting approaches to local risk profiles.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Security Coordinator in overseeing security strategies, technical security operations, and work programs across all company locations, in coordination with the Security Manager and/or Supervisors.
- Provide recommendations and input to the Security Coordinator and Management regarding manpower allocation and security infrastructure across all company locations.
- Collaborate with the Security Coordinator in designing security systems and developing specialized training programs to guide and enhance the capabilities of security personnel at company sites.
- Monitor and control security strategies, technical execution, and operational programs across all locations in coordination with the Security Coordinator and/or appointed Security Vendor Managers.
- Manage and ensure the submission of monthly security operation reports for all company locations to the Security Coordinator no later than the 5th of each month.
- Prepare incident reports related to security matters, including those requiring further legal action.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement authorities regarding security requirements, including protection and escort services when necessary.
- Oversee and manage security activities for plantation and mill operations, including all company assets.
- Coordinate effectively with appointed security vendors and hold authority to evaluate the performance of security personnel within their respective areas of responsibility.
- Prepare and submit police reports in accordance with instructions from the Security Manager when a case is identified as potentially violating criminal law provisions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any field or equivalet experience.
- Min 1 years of relevant experience.
- High level of physical fitness, with basic self-defense skills preferred.
- Ability to conduct fitness and self-defense training for groups is an advantage.
- Good communication skill
- Good understanding Indonesia Law
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating security personnel in production facilities, including both static guarding and mobile patrol operations.
- Strong familiarity with preparing police reports, as well as handling, securing, and safekeeping of recovered or stolen goods.
