Compensation:  $22.15/hr

Principal Accountabilities

• Knowledge of product specifications and general operations
• Possess knowledge of food safety and sanitation polices
• Monitor product and confidently uphold product quality
• Train personnel to identify between acceptable product and product that does not meet Cargill’s quality standard
• Instruct and support line employees on job performance
• Communicate with leads, supervisors, and managers on the production floor
• Provide support for the area superintendent

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to taste samples of finished product to make sure it meets customer specifications and document any findings
• Must have the ability to train and coach employees on product specifications and quality
• The ability to recognize a problem and demonstrate good decision-making skills
• Must be able to speak, read, & write in EnglishMust have Microsoft Excel skills
• Able to lift 40 lbs
• Internal candidates only: Good Attendance /Safety record requirements are as follows:  4 points or less on attendance and no written warnings on safety 
• Must have the ability to perform the above job requirements for both frozen and fresh ground beef processes
• Must be available to work weekends and extended hours – until production shift is completed
• Must be able to cover between shifts upon business needs/Supervisor request with up to less than 24 hour notice
